What you need to know
Quizzes are aimed at helping your organization carry out internal learning. A quiz allows you to add questions, learning resources, additional information slides, and the same quiz can be scheduled for multiple sessions.
So, if you have an onboarding quiz, you can schedule new sessions instead of creating a new quiz each time you do onboarding. The quiz structure will remain the same, while the different sessions will provide information on the participants, their results, and how long it took to complete the quiz.
Question types
You can choose between multiple choice, sort order, and match the pair questions.
Here's what each of the question types allows you to do:
Multiple choice
This question type allows you to ask questions with multiple answer options where one or multiple can be the correct answers. With multiple choice, you can either provide answer options as text, images, or text & images.

This is how the multiple choice question section looks when you create a quiz.
Sort into order
This question type allows you to create questions where the answers need to be sorted. Those can be questions about different processes, chronological orders, priorities, or other subjects.
When creating the question, write the answers in the correct order, and we'll make sure to randomize them for the people completing the quiz. To answer the question, participants will have to drag and drop the answers in the right order.

This is how the sort order question section looks when you create a quiz.
Match the pair
This question type allows you to ask questions where the participants need to match two answer parts – the task can be either to match text to text or image to text.

This is how the match pairs question section looks when you create a quiz.
Quiz sessions
Whenever a quiz is ready, you can schedule a session. A session is simply a time frame within which all the participants need to complete the quiz. Here's some practical info:
- It is possible to schedule multiple sessions for the same quiz. For example, if you've made a quiz for internal onboarding, you can schedule different sessions each month (or whenever you host onboarding).
- If you schedule a session in the future, the participants will receive an invitation email to complete the quiz as soon as the session is open. If you schedule a session that starts now, the participants will receive an invitation email immediately.
- All quiz results are saved in a data source. It means that you can create dashboards, achievements, notifications, and more for all quizzes, sessions, and results!
Tip – Test the quiz before you schedule a session
You can schedule a quiz session for yourself to test it before you send it out. Once you've created a session for yourself, you will be able to find and complete the quiz under Training > My quizzes.
