Prefix & Suffix

How to add or remove a prefix or suffix in your formulas.

If you want to add currency, units of time, or other elements to your formula result, you can easily do it by adding a prefix or suffix in the formula editor.

  • Go to KPI management > Formulas in Plecto.
  • Create new or open an existing formula.
  • Find the prefix and suffix fields in the formula editor and type in the information you want to add to your formula result. For example, add "$" as a prefix, "min" or "EUR" as suffix, or any other text of your choice.
  • To finish, click "Save" in the bottom-right corner.

  • Go to KPI management > Formulas in Plecto.
  • Create new or open an existing formula.
  • To add a prefix, click before the first parenthesis and type in the prefix.
  • To add a suffix, click after the last parenthesis and type in the suffix.
  • To finish, click "Save."

Once you have saved the formula, you will see the added prefix or suffix on your dashboard.
