What is the holidays function?

The holidays function is one of the date and time functions Plecto has implemented to make working with date and time objects easy. It is used in the advanced formula editor, where it will return the number of holidays in a given interval. This function allows you to exclude public holidays from your metrics.

The holidays function is widely used with the Networkdays function which counts the number of working days within a set time period. For example, you have established a Month to Date target and want to see the number of deals you have to make per day based on your target. With the holidays function, you can exclude the holidays from the day count to only look at the days you are working and display your daily target accordingly.
