Data types
Import your data from Stack Overflow to Plecto and see your question KPIs in real time. For each data type you add, Plecto will create one data source and list it under Data management > Data sources. You can currently import the following data types:
- Answers
- Comments
- Questions
- Users

Integrate Stack Overflow with Plecto
To connect your Stack Overflow account to Plecto, you need to know the name of your team. You can find your team name in the Stack Overflow URL: https://stackoverflow.com/c/<team_name>/questions
- Once you know the team name, open Plecto and go to Data management > Data sources > + New data source > Stack Overflow.
- Enter the team name, then click Next.
- Click Approve to give Plecto access to your Stack Overflow data.
- Select the data types you want to import to Plecto.
- (Optional) Expand the Advanced settings to change the data source title, default date field used in formulas, or other settings. You can access the settings also after you've created the data source.
- Click Next to finish and import your data.
To help you get started, Plecto imports 30 days of data. To import more, open the data source settings and click Import more data.
