Plecto integrates with QuickBooks Online
This integration works with QuickBooks Online. If you try to integrate with QuickBooks Desktop version, the integration will not work.
Data types
Plecto offers a long list of data types you can import from QuickBooks. For each data type you import, Plecto will create one data source. Find the list of data sources under Data management > Data sources. Here are all the data types you can currently import from QuickBooks to Plecto:
- Accounts
- Activities
- Bill lines
- Bills
- Customers
- Estimate lines
- Estimates
- Invoice lines
- Invoices
- Items
- Purchase lines
- Purchases
- Vendors

Integrate QuickBooks with Plecto
- Go to Data management > Data sources > + New data source > QuickBooks.
- Click Next and log in to your QuickBooks account.
- Select the data types you want to import to Plecto.
- (Optional) Expand the Advanced settings to change the data source title, default date field used in formulas, or other settings. You can access the settings also after you've created the data source.
- Click Next to continue and import your data.
To help you get started, Plecto imports a month's worth of data automatically. If you want to have older data in your data source, open your data source settings and click Import more data. Follow this guide for more instructions: Manual Refresh and Import of Data.
Start building your dashboards and KPIs
Go to Visualization > Dashboards > + New dashboard and start building your QuickBooks KPIs. For more help, go to Create a Dashboard or How to Build a Formula.
