Step 1: Generate an API key and find your Easy Project domain

To connect your Easy Project account to Plecto, you need to obtain an API key from Easy Project and find your domain.

  1. To get your API key, click on your user icon in the top-right corner.

  2. Click Edit and scroll to the bottom of the page. You should see the API key field. If you don't have an API key, you can generate a new one by clicking Generate API Key on the right.

  3. Copy the API key. You will have to use it when creating an Easy Project data source in Plecto.

  4. Find your domain. You can see the domain in the URL, and it looks similar to the following: https://1234.fra2.easyproject.com/

  5. Move to Step 2.

Step 2: Create an Easy Project data source in Plecto

  1. Open Plecto in a separate browser tab.

  2. Go to Data management > Data sources > + New data source > Easy Project.

  3. (Optional) Rename your credentials.

  4. Enter your Easy Project domain and the API key you copied from your Easy Project account.

  5. Click Next.

  6. Select the data you want to import.

  7. Configure your data source settings. Here, you can change the title, choose the default date, select which fields to import, and more.

  8. Click Next to choose how much data to import and how long you want to keep it in the data source.

  9. Click Import to finish.

Available data

Currently, you can import the following data from your Easy Project account to Plecto:

  • Contacts

  • Leads

  • Opportunities

  • Projects

  • Tasks
