Step 1: Get your 4Com credentials

To integrate your 4Com data with Plecto, you have to provide a username and an API token. Only Super Users and Restricted Users can generate API tokens in 4Com.

  • Username is the email you use to log in to 4Com.

  • API Token is a unique ID that you can generate in 4Com.

To access your token, go to Configuration > System Settings > API. From there, you'll be able to generate a new API token.

Step 2: Connect 4Com to Plecto

  1. Go to Data management > Data sources > + New data source > 4Com.

  2. (Optional) Rename your credentials.

  3. Enter your 4Com username and an API token, then click Next.

  4. Configure your data source settings. Here, you can change the title, choose the default date, select which fields to import, and more.

  5. Click Next to choose how much data to import and how long you want to keep it in the data source.

  6. Click Import to finish.

Currently, you can import the following data from 4Com:

  • Calls

What to do if there are duplicate employee profiles?

After integrating 4Com, Plecto will create new employees in your organization. It might be that some employee profiles have duplicates. If so, you will have to merge the duplicate profiles manually.

  1. Go to Organization > Employees.

  2. Click the Actions button on the right of an employee profile, then click Merge with another employee.

  3. Choose the duplicate profile, then click Merge.
