API Limits

There are some limits to how much data you can send through Plecto's API.

Plecto API enforces some limits to how much data you can send. All limits are global and apply to all organizations in Plecto. If you're reaching these limits or have questions, please contact our support team to find a solution.

Organization admins can see the number of API requests and their limits by going to Organization > Settings in Plecto. All the details are listed under the section Security, Usage & Limits.

API limits - default settings
  • API requests (default) are limited to 3600 requests/hour, and they apply to the following endpoints:

/contest-widgets
/dashboards
/devices
/favorites
/graphs
/images
/leaderboards
/numbers
/screens
/tables
/text
/timelines

  • API requests (registrations) are limited to 3600 requests/hour and 100 items per request. These limitations apply to all interactions with the following endpoint:

/registrations

High throughput

All high throughput requests are limited to 1200 requests/min.
